Theme 13
Just last year I was going to school at Bangor High. A building with six wings of classrooms and one wing for offices. I had grown up going to school with most of the students in my grade. Every student had either met or heard of every teacher or other student at the school. Rumors spread like wild fire throughout the day creating drama. Whether a couple broke up or a party was busted by the cops, there was a new story every day. Now I attend classes at Eastern Maine Community College. A school with eight buildings; five with classrooms, two dorms, and a gym. There are so many people with a variety of ages that go to the school. I’ve haven’t had two classes yet that were anywhere near each other. I’m constantly seeing new people I’ve never seen before around campus. College is a whole new world compared to high school.
I've taught in both places--and Hogan Rd is certainly my favorite.
