In Class Work Week 13

My jewelry box on my bookshelf holds tons of untouched jewelry. I can’t even remember the last time I opened the lid. The box contains necklaces, earrings and rings that I’ve most likely only worn once. Some items were given to me as gifts from friends and family and others I bought myself. There is one item of jewelry I can’t go a day without wearing. I absolutely treasure my one and only thumb ring. It’s made from the handle of silverware. The ring is still as shiny as it was when I got it. My mother gave it to me for Christmas two years ago before we had a falling out. The ring has barely left my finger since then.

  1. Sure, there's a clear progression here from many things, things barely touched, to one thing, a small thing barely ever removed.
